San Gold reports substantial gold grades at Rice Lake
San Gold Corporation has reported "substantial widths and grade" in the drill program at the Rice Lake Gold Mine in Manitoba, Canada.
Most noteworthy was hole 473-06-26, which encountered 50.1 grams per tonne of gold over a length of 6.8 meters, within a wider length of 15.1 meters with 14.6 grams per tonne.
This intersection was an extension of the '96' vein drill that has yielded an average of 1.81 ounces per ton of gold over an average width of 1.7 meters.
Earlier this month hole 473-06-25 revealed a gold grade of 12.4 grams per tonne over a length of 30.3 meters.
San Gold is a Canadian mining company focused on mining at the Rice Lake Greenstone Belt.
The Rice Lake Mine opened in August last year.
