ANDREW CHANIN is co-founder and chief operating officer of PureFunds, the exchange-traded fund innovators and business managers currently specialising in precious minerals and miners.

Here Andrew Chanin talks with BullionVault's Miguel Perez-Santalla about exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and how they work. He talks about the pros and cons of such products, plus his view of the gold and silver markets, and their outlook for investors.

Previously working in the prop trading unit of Cohen Capital Group, and specializing in ETF arbitrage, Chanin began his career on the American Stock Exchange for Kellogg Capital Group. He has now made markets in over 100 ETFs.

Vice president of business development for BullionVault from 2012 to 2014, Miguel Perez-Santalla is a fierce advocate for retail investors, and a regular speaker at industry and media events.
