LONDON, 22 March 2016 – Comment from BullionVault features today in the latest precious metals report from leading US investment news-site MarketWatch.
Calling silver "undervalued" compared to gold, the white metal "may soon outperform" says the report, citing the recent highs in gold's relative price, measured by the Gold/Silver Ratio.
"It's possible that the dearer metal is set to retreat against its cheaper cousin," MarketWatch quotes Adrian Ash, head of research.
Fundamentally, rising inflation can boost silver compared to gains in the gold price, he explains, and central banks worldwide "look hell-bent on pushing consumer living costs higher."
