NEW YORK, 4 February 2014 – Miguel Perez-Santalla, vice-president at BullionVault, appeared today on TheStreet's Commodity Update, discussing the 18-month low in gold sentiment shown by the precious-metal exchange's latest Gold Investor Index.
"It was January, people were starting to get their W-2s, starting to weigh their investments and assessing the situation" for the year ahead, Miguel explains to the financial news and views channel, founded by US celebrity stockpicker Jim Cramer.
"And of course, because of the drop last year," Miguel adds, "we're also following the pattern" of lower interest towards gold amongst private investors.
