LONDON, 30 January 2014 – Swiss financial newspaper Handelszeitung today quotes BullionVault in an article studying Switzerland's role in the flow and storage of physical gold worldwide.
"Many long-term investors favour precious metal accounts where they own gold outright, rather than through ETF trust funds," the paper quotes Adrian Ash, head of research at BullionVault in London.
"Our customers continue to prefer Swiss storage," he explains, "with 75% of users choosing Zurich over London, New York, Singapore or Toronto."
