Le Monde: How to Convert Cash into Gold

LONDON, 17 December 2012 - French newspaper Le Monde today names BullionVault as a low cost, low risk solution for converting money into gold.

Calling gold "one of the best investments" since the financial crisis began, France's best-selling daily newspaper says gold has become "indispensable" in the same way as real estate, quoting one Parisian coin dealer.

"Be careful not to choose too small units," Le Monde advises, because the price per gram will be higher due to production costs - typically 5% above the gold's actual value for a 50-gram ingot.

Published since 1944, available in 120 countries and boasting some two million readers, Le Monde lists BullionVault, where large-bar gold is dealt from 1 gram at a time, as one of three internet gold providers.

"BullionVault can [also] store your gold for you for a fee of around 1% of the value per year," it says, warning readers to beware the risks and hassle of taking home delivery.
