LONDON, 31 May 2018 – BullionVault director of research Adrian Ash was a guest today on CNBC TV-18, India's leading business and finance news channel.
Speaking by phone from London to commodities anchor Manisha Gupta about the latest action in gold prices, "$1300 is clearly an important psychological level right now," said Adrian, "but I think really gold is already into the doldrums [because] the summer tends to be quiet for gold trading, both at the wholesale level and consumer and retail-investment level."
Looking at this week's political news out of Italy, Spain, Turkey and North Korea, "Frankly, we need a bigger shock to really see prices move significantly higher right now."
