Daily Express: No One Learned Anything

LONDON, 28 May 2018 – Comment from BullionVault about the global banking crisis of a decade ago appears online today at UK tabloid the Daily Express.

Reporting that the UK government is finally planning to re-privatize Royal Bank of Scotland, half of the UK's record-high national debt "has amassed in the 10 years since the crisis began," the paper says, quoting analysis from Adrian Ash, director of research at BullionVault.

"No-one's learned anything," Adrian goes on. "Regulators are fighting the last war, central banks have inflated new bubbles, and investors are blindly chasing returns, each hoping they'll be first through the door when everyone runs for the exit.

"Incredibly, savers still imagine this system exists to protect them."
