CityWire: Record App Trade at Gold No.1 Online

LONDON, 22 September 2015 – BullionVault "has seen a record transaction made through a mobile device" reports CityWire, the specialist news and rating service for City of London finance professionals.

Calling BullionVault "the world's largest gold and silver online market", its customers used the service "to trade a monthly average of $100 million in gold and silver" says CityWire.

Now this new deal saw a £500,000 trade made through one of its smartphone apps, "with the customer buying 687 ounces (21.4kg) of gold vaulted in Zurich.

"The transaction took place during the market volatility triggered by China's decision to devalue its currency on two separate occasions in August."
