The Daily Telegraph: The Safest Places for Your Money

LONDON, 29 March 2013 - BullionVault's chief economist is quoted today in a personal finance article in The Daily Telegraph looking at how to find the safest possible place for your money.

Looking at how the Financial Services Compensation Scheme works to protect UK bank depositors, as well as other "safe havens", the UK's best-selling quality daily quotes Ben saying that "a good way to own gold is directly - not through a trust - in 'allocated' physical form."

Ben also suggests offshore storage, "in a place with a strong tradition for protecting international investors' property," as an escape from possible government action to confiscate savings.
