LONDON, 2 October 2013 - Consensus at this week's London Bullion Market Association conference is for "more Asian buying, and less Western investment," says US finance site MarketWatch today, quoting LBMA member BullionVault's Adrian Ash, attending the conference.
"So the prevailing view, certainly short term, is it will take lower prices to clear the market," says Adrian.
But "the risk of US debt default skews that picture. Bargain hunters who stood aside during April and June's crashes might not get the last leg lower, which they're waiting for, as soon as they'd wish."
