MarketWatch: Traders Await Spanish Bail-Out

LONDON, 12 October 2012 - Comment from world-leading gold and silver provider BullionVault today appears in the latest precious metals report from MarketWatch, the financial news site from Dow Jones.

Quoted alongside George Gero at RBC Capital Markets, as well as Jeffrey Lacker, president of the Richmond Federal Reserve Bank, "The 'will-they-won't-they' Spanish bailout story continues to hang over the [gold] market," says BullionVault's chief economist, Ben Traynor.

"We may also get some news out of Greece regarding whether they'll be given more time to implement austerity measures.

Meantime, "Gold seems to have had all the juice it's going to get from the [US] Fed's announcement last month, and with two weeks to go until the next FOMC meeting, some in the market have decided to take a bit of profit."
